Zoey can see deep into my soul. What a gorgeous baby.

I’ll tell them you’ve said so!

Orange kitties have a special place in my heart as well.

There’s the option for folks to adopt them together but they may all go to different homes. They’d be a laugh riot if they got to stay together, that’s for sure.

Brian, Gregory, and Kevin were brought to the shelter piled in a bucket with 7 other kitties after they were all found fleeing from a controlled rural ditch burn. These sweet babies were terrified, skinny, had mites, and had slightly singed whiskers.

4 weeks later they’re strong, fat, brave and silly! They’ll be off to adoption next week. I’m gonna miss them a lot, they were great fun. ❤️

Oh these are lovely. You have a nice eye. They make me want to stop and study each shot to understand the scale. Very enjoyable to look through, thank you.

Absolutely amazing. It continues to blow my mind how there’s so much complexity and beauty all around us that we can’t even begin to appreciate without technological assistance.

Such handsome fellas. They must have brought a lot of joy.

So lovely. This would mark a beautiful painting.

This was really well said. I second it.

Our society can be, at times, so unjust and irrational. Two of my biggest mental health nemesis’s in life. And two of the things my NT friends and family don’t understand why I get so fixated on. I feel like I’m screaming into a dark void when they don’t understand my concern— because, the way I see it, if everyone cared about injustice even half as much as I do/did, the world would be an incredibly kind, safe, beautiful place to be.

Before I started therapy and meds I was literally driving myself batshit insane feeling completely out of control all the time. I had to learn to redirect my energy on what I actually could control: my mental self-care, and being emotionally healthy enough to help those in my social onion layer who need it.

I’m sorry we have to feel this way. And I truly hope anyone who can relate to this finds some solace and new wisdoms about it. Much love.

Those look so fabulous. We’ve had a particularly cold, wet spring thus far so mine are all stunted. I enjoy living vicariously through others’ garden hauls. Thank you for sharing.

I sure hope I did this right so that it has sound (apologies, I’m new here). Dutchie is the most sweet and innocent little cat we’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. Her attempts at strumming and her purrs just melt my heart.

Hi all! Excited to be trying out Lemmy after only lurking on Reddit for the last 10+ years. I’m going to try to be a better community contributor here… though it’s admittedly a little scary for me to be posting, haha.

This was a simple 20% rye, 80% bf loaf made with Mario, my small-town Italian sourdough starter, which was brought home to me by a traveling neighbor a few years ago.

I love Mario. He’s smells richly floral and has notes of red apple while chillin’ in his jar. Mario makes breads with awesome potential, and he’s helping me slowly improve my abilities with each new bake. I just friggen love baking bread. That crackle sound as it cools? always makes me grin and do a little dance.

Haha, ok now I’m rambling. Cheers to all you bread lovers. Much love from me and Mario, and may all your bakes be tall and tasty!
