All things green, outdoors, and nature-y. Whether it's animals in their natural habitat, hiking trails and mountains, or planting a little garden for yourself (and everything in between), you can talk about it here.

See also our Environment community, which is focused on weather, climate, climate change, and stuff like that.

(It's not mandatory, but we also encourage providing a description of your image(s) for accessibility purposes! See here for a more detailed explanation and advice on how best to do this.)

I'm so jealous. I seem to have a black thumb so I'd kill a strawberry plant in a matter of days, lol.

I’ve been there too. Never give up! Until then, you can always blame it on the field mice.

My problem with strawberries is slugs and snails. I refer to my strawberries as lgbt/gay as I am growing them in pink pots. So far we have only had a max of 5 … just watered them. Picking just before lunch.

Viva strawberries and cremé … oh yum! YabYum for Tantrists … :)

Ah yes, the struggle is real. Millipedes are my main strawberry nemesis here. It’s always so disheartening when a strawberry looks absolutely perfect… and then you pick it and come to find a hole on the underside where the millepedes have hollowed the whole damn thing out. Haha, the little monsters.
