In the US, they assign doctors to evaluate you, only to see you literally struggling to walk/balance yourself, and be told you could “probably work at least 4-8 hours a week, no disability for you, moocher”.

Nevermind that even if said mythical 4-8 hour/week, remote job existed, the pay wouldnt cover jack shit…

Don’t all IDs have scannable barcodes nowadays? Or is that just certain states?

That’s true! Although I have to believe some clerics take pity on the poor and help heal them. But I guess that just points to the system being broken, I mean you shouldn’t have to rely on the good graces of a benevolent do-gooder. The govt should be providing a herbologist and cleric for every village, free of charge!

A lot of empty stores, and then the big anchor stores are full of depressing doomer news articles

Neat! I figured rudimentary brushes had been around for awhile, but idk how useful they were without some kind of toothpaste-like material to clean all the gunk off.

And as far as fucked up teeth, yeah not brushing your teeth will rot them eventually, but the English seem to have inherently bad teeth placement. Or maybe it’s just a weird overblown stereotype, i dunno.

Didnt it make a cartoonishly over the top sound as well?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Damn that’s insane then!

Did she? I mean, when did they invent toothbrushes and toothpaste, and more importantly, when did they actually catch on among the public?
