Yeah and she does that weird thing where she pauses every few words and nods, like she expects you to REALLY take in what she’s saying or something. It’s annoying!
Lol this is great! Landlords suck. Yeah they’ll try and convince you they’re doing you a favor, saving you from homelessness, but why would I be homeless if houses were affordable and I could just buy one myself?
I have a coworker that will bring up how places like Target are starting to offer a minimum wage almost comparable to his wage as a engineering field technician. “It’s fucked up, I mean imagine if they raised it to your wage as a college grad, how would you feel? Random teenagers making as much as you!”
“It IS fucked up, but not for the reason you think. They SHOULD be making more money… but so should the rest of us!”
He usually just mutters to himself and drops it. Propaganda is a helluva drug.
I’m a Millenial, and it’s been wild to see how i’m basically near the top of the bell curve when it comes to understanding the basics of using computers. Like you, I thought general computer illiteracy would die with the Boomers… but here we are.
Yeah and once you’re deep into playing… you stop caring about that stuff and focus on the game.
I had mine maybe 8 months before the left stick started drifting hard. Completely unusable. And sony wanted me to go through all these hoops AND spend like $20 bucks to ship it to them.
Ended up getting an 8bit Pro Ultimate instead, and so far it’s worked great! Has Hall-Effect joysticks too, so no chance of drifting ever. The major console makers NEED to switch to HE for the next gen.
Just another reason I’m glad I don’t care to drink alcohol… did not know this was even a thing 🤢
There were countless developers that folded during the transition to HD, 3D graphics in the PS360 era, and I feel like Gamefreak would have easily been one of them if Pokemon hadn’t taken off the way it did.
