Electro Convulsive Therapy - they literally shock your brain at high voltages for 10-15 minutes a few times per session.

In my opinion, its extremely under-studied and over prescribed. It should be a completely last ditch attempt extreme cases of treatment resistant depression.

My wife had several ECT treatments over the last few years and is now a completely different person. Depression is alleviated, but we both agree that cognitively she’s worse off than she was before.

Fuck that shit.

I’m in the same boat, but am realizing that I do miss the conversations around the hype train. When you play a game that came out several years ago, it’s harder to have a conversation about it.

Still trying to find that happy medium, but not buy games I won’t play.

The difficult part is that I’m not working late by choice, but by obligation. I don’t want my family to remember me losing my job and any downstream effects from that.

Luckily there’s only a few weeks per year that are crunch time and require me to stay late.

iPhone 13 Pro Max. Switched over from android (Galaxy S6) when the iPhone X came out, used that for 4 years, decided I liked it better than android due to iMessage, upgraded when it was time. I mostly use my phone for texting and browsing Reddit (RIP Apollo)
