Happy to be somewhere new.

I just want to enjoy supporting LFC. I want to go through the high and the lows with you all. Sometimes my (and your) micromanaging impulses won’t be satisfied but I hope we can move past that and enjoy supporting the club together.

Love that Jones is doing so well - and Elliot too, but less game time. Seems like so many have been willing to bin them, but they are showing they are among the best young players in the world.

Agree with everything you say, I’m going to add what I’m looking forward to:

  • is gakpo going to continue his trajectory and keep improving? What is his ceiling?
  • how is Darwin this preseason? Same again or up a level?
  • diaz at the start of last season looked like he had got an end product. Is that going to continue?
  • I’m really excited about Jones, Elliot and Bajcetic this season. They have less pressure and more time to shine.

Let’s get some discussion going here!

Soon preseason starts with friendlies, a lot of media stuff, and build up to the new season.

How much do you engage? Nothing, catch up on updates, going to a game, follow every friendly, watch every bit of content social media content?

What are you looking forward to seeing? The 353 carrying on? New signings? Younger players that we’ve not seen yet (Bajcetic wasn’t on most of our radars last preseason)?

How optimistic are you feeling?

In a few weeks or months we could fill anfield! Great work

While it makes some sense. We have a lot of younger midfielders, having 3 senior midfielders (ca 30+) when everyone else is under 25 feels like the right number.

I don’t want all three of them to ever play together again but one or two a game will be invaluable — especially from the bench.

Milner has gone. Losing 2 of your 4 “seen it all midfielders” feels like too many.

He ended the season so strong. Hoping this is the year he goes from great player to POTY-level stuff.

Wow been looking for something like this for ages and gave up. Seems to work really well. Thanks!

I’ve had multiple conversations with very smart traditional conservatives who argue for personal freedom and often libertarian economic foundations (although I think they are very wrong). However none of the ones I respect identify with the right wing movements in the US and UK (and other countries) over the recent years.

So while I agree with you, I think this post is trying to say “the current popular right wing movement”.

What about Lemmites?

I chose vlemmy.net cause it seemed neutral, general, and was one of the recommended ones. So far so good.

I’m a new convert to Lemmy. It feels a lot like old reddit before it hit the mainstream and the digg exodus. I hope it stays like this.
