Oh Locum Tenens, sure. That is absolutely the ideal field for that kind of lifestyle. I'm hoping there's easy access to some parks jobs for like 6 months at a time while living mobile or something.

And the way customer support staff can be/is abused in the US is so dehumanizing. Nobody should have to go through that wrestling ring.

Yeah, of course, the guy who is doing everything wrong is absolutely on top of it this time.

I'm daydream about doing that ALL the time, but I wouldn't even know where to start if I'm at 0 on knowing how to do that. From a 27yo millennial to a 40yo millennial, pls help. What resources did you use to plan out where you'd work and how certain you'd be of employment if you really needed it? Thank you so much if you've even read this far.

I love when one of the richest companies on Earth (2nd by market cap, only behind Apple) just doesn't make enough money that they need to consider this bullshit. Fuck this infinite profit growth. This is so fucking stupid. Everything is a god damn subscription. Gotta wring out every penny from our customers as the good Lord intended.

I think you're being sarcastic here, but I really can't tell haha.

I see Gavin Newsome talk on interviews and say exactly the kind of stuff we want to hear about how bullshit everything is and showing up on Sean Hannity's show (twice?) and calling him out on all the shit Fox News spews, and then to see "wins" as pathetic as this for worker's rights is so frustrating.

It blows my mind that Biden/Congress didn't give the workers all of their completely reasonable demands if they were able to give them even SOME of their sick days. It is completely obvious how fucked those workers are treated and the disasters that can follow because of it and all we heard about was, "BuT mUh EcOnOmY!!!" Enjoy East Palestine you completely idiotic fucks, it'll keep happening.

From 3 to 5... I literally don't understand why a governor and state as progressive as it is doesn't go all in and give people a realistic number. Did COVID teach us nothing? Who is lucky enough these days to only be sick up to 5 days a year. And why do we have to earn it?? Give me a law that makes it so that everyone gets their PTO/sick days all at the beginning of the year and uses it as needed.

This really can't be the best they have right?

Keep going! The writer's strike succeeded and I believe the UAW strike will too. It's a fucking crime that the rail workers didn't go on strike, Congress be damned.

This is never going to stop being ridiculous is it?
