Your community, as in the community you moderates? Yeah it makes sense.

From what I've heard, moderators (and admins probably) can see deleted posts, as this scenario did happen to my post in the communities I moderate. Fortunately, only moderators, admins, or anyone with your posts' link before it was deleted could potentially see your deleted posts.

That's why it's recommended that you edit your post title, description, and url/images to "deleted by creator" or similar when deleting your posts, as moderators can't undo edits.

I mean, I see a lot of furries in my local feed, but it doesn't take a sherlock to see why. In all feed though, even with this account, I could hardly see any furry posts, although very occasionally they show up.

In a nutshell, it's like English's they (plural animate or inanimate), it (for feminine objects, remember that german is a gendered language like french) she, and you (both singular and plural) combined.

Though, Sie meaning "you" is the polite version, used to address someone politely. For informal situations, there's the impolite and always-singular "Du"

While there are different conjugations and capitalization between the different uses of Sie, in the end they all use the same word.

Some browser supports blocking videos from autoplaying, Firefox is one of them but maybe chrome has similar options too. Check the browser settings.

Nothing major, but I have a few small moments where I feel euphoric, even if I'm usually shroud in dysphoria. It's like a ray of hope in a dark cave. At least it helped me think twice whenever I wanted to just fully repress.

Oh my it's so cute!

It doesn't matter if you're subscribed to [email protected] (and [email protected] for good measure).

Not that I hated it. It's actually nostalgic seeing all the meme templates I grew up with once more.

There are plenty of Solitaire games out there aside from MS Solitaire, including free and open source ones. I think PySolFC fits that bill quite well, a huge collection of Solitaire games available for Windows (and other platforms, Linux included of course).

Or KPatience if you use Linux. It's even preinstalled if you use KDE, which I do.

Hey, they say "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" didn't they.

I have quite a few recommendations. They are not quite non-freemium since they are free, but if your reason to prefer non-freemium is to avoid ads and in app purchases, then none of these games have them. They are all also open source and the link I provided below will be for their respective F-Droid version (note: some of these games are not available on Google Play Store):

  • Simon Tatham's Puzzle - A collection of many puzzle games ported to Android. The puzzles include Minesweeper, Net, Sudoku, and more.
  • Simple Solitaire Collection - As the name says, it's a collection of card-based Solitaire games.
  • Simple Brick Games - A game that imitates very basic handheld with very small pixel count. Games include tetris, breakout, and more.
  • 1010 Klooni - A puzzle game where you have to use various shaped blocks to fill an entire horizontal or vertical line.
  • Tower Jumper - This is a clone of a popular android game in which you move a jumping ball and try to reach the end of a tower avoiding the obstacles.
  • Ball2Box - A puzzle game about shooting a ball into the box.
  • Anuto - Another ugly tower defense.

This particular game requires far more attention and strategy than the ones listed above, but it can be played once every few minutes if you constantly save and reload (just don't play online):

  • Unciv - 4X civilization-building game, similar to Sid Meier's Civilization series.

Nah, Prince of Darkness is better than Archmage

...oh wait, wrong game

Basically phone speakers at home, earbuds while away. As basic as you can get.

Hello everyone, welcome to transfurs!

This is a community for transgender furries where we can come together and discuss more about the intersectionality between being transgender and furry. Of course, other queer furries and allies are welcome to join as long as things stay on topic.

Given the huge number of trans furries, we thought it might be a good idea to have a dedicated community. It would be nice to discuss the intersectionality between furry and trans experiences.

Keep in mind that despite the name association in other places, this community isn't about transformation related stuff (as in human turning into furries and the like). Rather, this community is about transgender furries.

We welcome transformation related contents if they are relevant to this community's purpose. But if you want to find and share purely transformation related stuff, there are other, more appropriate communities such as:

Rules

Please keep in mind that our community rules and guidelines will be updated every once in a while. Be sure to keep track of any edits to this pinned post so you won't get left behind on our community rules.

01. Follow pawb.social code of conducts

Their code of conducts can be found here.. In summary:

  1. No contents or conducts that are illegal in the United States.
  2. No racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and other discrimination.
  3. Don't stalk or harass other users.
  4. No misinformation and deceptive content.
  5. Content warning policy. For pawb.social lemmy instance specifically: NSFW content must be tagged.
  6. Do not perform pentesting without approval, do not spam or advertise, and limit the scope of automated tools (see the full code of conducts).
  7. Use the report system
  8. Account policies, see the full code of conducts for more info.

02. Keep this community as a safe space

Keep this place civil and don't cause issues or drama which may make others unwelcome. Avoid hostile behaviors such as gaslighting, harrasment, ad hominem, bullying, and other incivility. Hate speech against other groups are also not allowed, such as fatphobia, ableism, antitheism, etc.

Keep in mind that anything which may invalidate someone's gender identity is also not allowed. This includes erasure or gatekeeping of non-binary, genderfluid, and other alternative gender identities. Likewise, gatekeeping whether someone is trans enough, calling others trenders or fakers is also not allowed.

Basically, respect others' gender identity.

03. Put Content Warning on potentially negative post

When posting content which may trigger or affect many people negatively (such as negative experiences, transphobia, etc), try to place content warning within your post title. For example:
[TW: transphobia] Insert post title

Also, if your post assumes or reassures viewers as a certain gender (such as posts that affirms femininity, which can be euphoric for transfeminine people but dysphoric for transmasculine people, and anything else similar to that), place a trigger warning within your post title. For example:
[TW: assumes viewer as transfem] Insert post title

04. We are not professionals, don't ask for medical advice

This community is not created, maintained, or participated by a professional. We are mostly trans people and furries who wanted to share our own creation and ideas. This community is not a substitute for professional help if you need them. We also can't guarantee the quality of any users, posts, or comments made in this community, so please excercise caution to any advice or information here.

Because of that, we also couldn't allow medical advices which could be dangerous without professional help. These include advices about HRT dosages, DIY HRT, and other medical advices, official or alternative. We couldn't moderate such contents properly and we couldn't guarantee the safety of such advices. There are other communities better suited for such content.

Of course, general mentions of HRT and surgeries are allowed, just not medical discussions/advices which can be dangerous without professionals.

05. No adveritising or fundraising

Our moderation team are not well equipped to vet or verify that any particular fundraiser, crowdfunding, or organizations are legitimate, so we couldn't allow them within our community. This applies to both personal and organization fundraising, as well as non-fundraising organization.

If you need resources or professional help, we highly recommend checking [email protected] sidebar/about page as there are quite a few helpful links. You could also ask or find more resources there.

TLDR for Rules

  1. Follow pawb.social code of conducts.
  2. Keep this community as a safe space and don't make others unwelcome or invalidate their gender
  3. Put Content Warning on potentially negative posts and posts that assumes the viewers' genders.
  4. We are not professionals, don't ask for medical advice
  5. No adveritising or fundraising

We will continue to revise the rules as time went by and our community grows. We hope you have a great time within our community.

Keep awooing your gender!

Hi, I'm Jasmine.

This post is a bit of a vent, but I also genuinely need help and comfort. I hope this is appropriate to talk about here and that I don't ruin the vibe of this community too much.

I'm tired with myself repressing my gender. I'm tired with me telling myself maybe I can live happily as a boy, maybe I can convince myself, or maybe this is all fake somehow. I feel like I'm not meant to be a girl, that I am meant to be a boy, and that I shouldn't transition because it's against my cultures. And my internalized transphobia sometimes made me think like a bigot when given the chance.

I've done my best to avoid lashing my internalized transphobia to anyone, even online, and I'll continue to do my best. I'll continue to do my best to support trans people, but ironically it's hard for me to support myself.

I know this all sounds so negative, but it's been eating away at my mental health. I need help.

I just wanted someone to reassure me that it's okay for me to transition and that there is nothing wrong with being transgender. I would also greatly appreciate sites and resources for trans people to reassure me that it's okay to be trans.

ALT: Drake disagree-agree meme with drake disagreeing to "Using Duolingo to learn a new language" and him agreeing to "Using Duolingo for gender euphoria" while showing a screenshot of Duolingo asking its user to translate "I am a woman" to French.

I can't believe that after weeks of dysphoria and me trying to repress who I am, this is the one thing that broke me into gender euphoria. Strange how that happens.

This post is mostly intented for plural systems, but I'm open to anyone responding as well, even if you aren't plural. It's nice to hear from another perspective outside our community.

When you have more than one selves within the same body, it's fair to say that the pronoun "I" may not be enough sometimes. After all, if you share your body with more than one selves, some of the things your body does would technically be done by all of your selves.

For example, as a plural system myself, whenever I go anywhere, technically all my headmates (or another selves) will also go with me since we share the same body. If the body goes somewhere, everyone goes along with it. With that, some stuff about us can't be described with just "I." Think of how I've been using "we," "us," and "our" throughout this post.

So, if you're plural yourself, do you also use plural pronouns the same way we do? When do you use "we" to describe yourself? And when do you use "I" to describe yourself?

For me at least, I usually use singular pronouns for stuff like opinions, since every one of us have differing opinions (even if we share the same body!). For example, I am writing most of this text alone, so I use singular first person.

But, for stuff all of us agree on, stuff written by more than one headmates, or stuff involving multiple headmates, I often use plural pronouns like "we" since it involves more than one of us. I also use we for the more formal stuff. In a way, it's kind of like using royal/formal we.

Honestly, being more than one in the same body presents a lot of weird and interesting quirks, and this is just one of them.

And, if you're not plural or don't understand what's going on here (that's understandable), how often do you use royal/formal we to describe yourself? If you're the sole moderator of a community on lemmy or someplace else, do you use "we" for moderator announcements to sound more formal?

I've seen many people do this. I've seen fursonas with top surgery scars or bottoms reflecting the ones the authors have. Of course, it's nice to have our own fursonas represents who we are and to make them relatable to us.

But on the flip side, I've heard some transfurs preferring to have a cis fursona based on their preferred gender instead. They felt that their fursonas represents their perfect self, which for them would be if they were cis.

There's nothing wrong with that or making your fursona trans. Your fursona is yours to decide and it doesn't have to be tied to expectations about yourself; that's the best part about having a fursona!

But, how do you feel about it? If you are trans, do you also make your own fursona transgender?

Personally, my fursona is transgender much like I am. I usually like to put a little trans pin and write her as "trans" in her ref sheet, assuming that I'd ever take the time to draw her. While being trans isn't the biggest aspect of my fursona or an imporant detail for most of her art, it is an important part of her identity.

Hello everyone! This is the first time I've ever uploaded my art online. I know it's not the best, but I tried. I never really draw anything before and it took me quite a while to finish this.

I've been struggling with a lack of motivation lately. I always feel too demotivated to ever finish anything. And before I share my creation online, I always feel anxious and scared that I'll mess up or annoy someone. But I wanted to push through all that and share this to all of you!

This image represents how I feel sometimes. Staying in bed, mildly bored and apathetic. I don't have a name for the character or anything, this is more of a test art.

For context

Civet Cat Coffee, otherwise known as Luwak Coffee, is made out of the poop of a civet cat that was fed with coffee. Without their poop, the coffee wouldn't exist, hence the meme.

ALT TEXT: Everytime I pooped (followed by an image of a civet cat), you get coffee. Imagine the entire luwak coffee industry collapsing because these MFs don't poop for three days.
