The Last of Us, probably. Naughty Dog makes games that wish they were movies.

The assassins creed games I would assume, their gameplay is stale.
Other RPGs with similar vibes. Hogwarts, that kinda stuff.

Call of duties, I hope.

RDR2 I think will be a worse experience in retrospect. The long intro, the restrictive missions... It's going to be the kind of game you remember fondly, but can't replay.

The horror games that do the Amnesia gimmick, like SOMA.

BG3. I have literally nothing to base this on, I like the game, it's great fun, but I just get the vibe that it will go the way of RDR2. All vibes no analysis here.

You can do what one of my friends did and walk up to literally everyone they meet and ask them if they can buy some drugs.
Yes that did almost include a cop, I had to point out their uniform.

They did end up finding a great dealer, so I guess it works, though I would not recommend it

Not today, Langley

Seems like it's more just being provocative about the concept of whiteness, which is cool and good.
Hating people because of their skin color is bad, but that's not what you're doing.

Are you actually doing a bit where you're being provocative about the concept of whiteness, or are you unironically hateful of a group of people based off their skincolor?

Yeah and that's fine, that's not what I say I find cringe. I'm sorry I've phrased myself in a confusing way.

I find it cringe to go "I'm one of the good ones" and that's what I am saying is cringe. Critiquing the concept of whiteness is good, being a pick-me is not.

[–] [email protected] 13 points 9 months ago

No I agree, I think it's good to point that out. I just feel like a lot of the responses here are "I'm white but it's okay because I hate myself".
Yeah my reduction is cringe too. I tried to keep the tone joking, so it wouldn't come off as too serious, but I can see how I messed that up.

I gotta be honest, I find these types of posts super cringe. They come off as "I'm one of the good ones!" The responses that more or less say that verbatim don't help.
You're not more of a leftist because you hate yourself or your parents or whatever.

Yeah death to the concept of whiteness and so on but go talk to someone normal please.

He is correct. I have no attachment or passion or creativity for my job. I do it for the money. If you want attachment, hire my friends and give us time to interact. If you want passion, change the work to something else which I am passionate about. If you want creativity, give me free reins.
None of this will happen, because it is a job, and doing so would be unprofitable. Do not then be surprised when all I care about is money as well.

It seems like i will have to, though I hadn't even considered it. Thanks for opening my eyes honestlypenguin-love

From here

that's it, that's the post. No bit. Let this be a rick and morty discussion post if you want to, or just post what you think about it.

Yes I still watch that slop, don't worry though - I watch much worse tv than that.

I always ending up siding with Joshua Graham. Mainly because it seems like the other guy (david?) is just doing a really basic "noble savage / white saviour" routine. Like his "solution" is to just pack up and leave in order for the people to preserve some inherent quality of "innocence" he thinks they possess. He would rather have them hounded for the rest of their existence, than do something that challenges his perception of them.

On the other hand Joshua Graham is a mormon

I've tried to replicate the bug a few times, but haven't been able to find any pattern apart from me being already logged in.
If I'm logged in, close the site and later on open the site in a new tab or window (chrome or firefox both do this) then I sometimes see another account from my own logged in. It is never the same account, and the occurence is otherwise random.
I have not experienced this on mobile yet.

Feedback isn't around anymore, so I didn't know where else to post this.

And I was getting so hopeful after Mitsoda got canned and the game got pushed back indefinetely. Auteur theory is a fuck, Mitsoda has basic gen-x'er humor and I'm glad he's gone. Why the fuck did they decide to pivot into this Fallout 4 type dreg though? The main character is going to have an established backstory and everything.

Why make an RPG if you don't want players to role play?
