Why are the American right red and left blue, the opposite to most other places?

To be fair, if you had a water supply you could just chuck buckets of water down your toilet if the flush wasn’t working.

I’m not defending that defence.

True that. Also, right to work. I’m not USAmerican though so I’m not as aware.

When MH370 disappeared and there was speculation that USAmerica had made it disappear, my mate at the time said “there’s no way America would do that”.

Further to the Brexit thing, another example is Corbyn running for PM in 2017(?), offering a four day week, state ownership of energy, rail etc…loads of left wing and socialist stuff, but not extremely so. But the press said he’d ruin the country, so people started parroting that, then when you pushed them to explain why, the responses varied from “well he will won’t he” to “common sense isn’t it?”. Absolutely infuriated me.

It’s you that is whatabouting. We could (Read:should) have defended them without robbing their land.

Further to that; it doesn’t excuse the fact that we have never returned the land to them. Bit of a process appreciated, but it would have made the incredibly difficult and moronic brexit process a bit easier.
