All in all, pretty good. I finished with intensive out patient last week, so I start regular out patient today (3 months sober!). It's my second week of my new job and so far everyone is pretty chill. My pixelfed account is trending right now (I'm not completely sure what that means/does, but either way it's cool that people are enjoying my hobby) I'm @Swanton if any of you want to check it out. It's only Tuesday, but so far so good

You should check out Casiotone for the Painfully Alone. A lot of his songs are like this, the rest tend to be short stories set to music. Excellent band ( although I think it's just one guy named Owen Asheworth). He calls the project Advanced Base now, also really good

I majored in English, now I make artisanal pizzas.

Nothing specific, I'm hoping for the opposite. Something most people either aren't familiar with and/or just something you enjoy.

The Mountain Goats- the Sunset Tree. It's a concept album, if you're a lyric person give it a listen. Regardless if it gets enough upvotes. Do yourself a favor, it's that good

One day at a time. Much better at the moment, just left a meeting. It's hard but it's worth it. Thanks for asking, I hope you have a good day

I was a pretty bad alcoholic/addict. Long story short, rehab and treatment.

I picked up some extra work so my weekend will be pretty much nonexistent. Let me live vicariously through you. Anything fun or exciting? Anything shitty you want to vent about? Boring normal stuff that needs done? Lay it on me!

I think people who are patient and interact with children with respect and empathy is a giveaway.

I spend most of my time on beehaw, they're my kind of people

I absolutely love it here. It's everything an old anarcho hippy punk could ask for. No regrets on leaving reddit

It's going to rain all day where I am tomorrow. I had plans to go hiking, but that's not going to happen. I have some video games I've meant to start, but I'm trying to think outside of the box. what are your favorite (cheap or free) indoor activities. I'm up for any ideas

I find myself going on jags of rereading. I always have something new that I'm reading with some others in the wings, but sometimes I get an itch to reread books. Usually I'll pick up an old Vonnegut novel, for example, and realize how much I've missed his style and message. That leads me to binge several more of an authors books.

Mine is going to be laid back if all goes according to plan. I'm going to do some birding with a friend tomorrow morning, then I'm headed to a used bookstore to buy a copy of "the pricess bride" that I talked myself out of the other day (I've never read it). Then I'm hitting the farmers market and then relaxing at home for the foreseeable future. Enjoy your weekend!

My friend and I went on a five hour hike today. I had a great time hiking, but I think I enjoyed getting home and sitting down almost as much. The feeling of all of my sore muscles melting as my whole body sighed with relief was fantastic.

I've only made two posts so far, but everyone has given legitimate and intelligent responses to both. It's made me realize how not used to that I had become. It's an overwhelming positive feeling to not be nervous about sharing with this community. Thank you to all of you

I personally enjoy taking long walks. It doesn't matter if it's in the woods, on a bike trail, or just through town. There's something nice about just meandering and being alone with your thoughts while still being immersed in the outside world.

I haven't been on here as much as normal as I've had a busy week(for me). How is everyone? Anything cool happen?Anything to get off your chest? Or Just shoot the breeze
