In all honesty? That'd prolly work kinda, but I feel white culture besides being racist has nothing else monolithic that separates them compared to other ethnic groups in America (like everyone participates in St Paddys day and no one is really "Irish American"). Like in all truth white culture is really fucking hollow and is legit just consume, be racist, support the imperial machine, worship "Jesus", reproduce, then die with variations only existing if you are rich white (capitalist shit) or poor/working class white (i.e. buy a shitload of guns and abuse meth/alcohol/wife).

Yeah pretty much, though I'd honestly call it "class disassociation" is more the tenant as it's always working class people that considers themselves by their whiteness are always licking the boot of capital and praising bootstrap economics

I feel we need a PSA on how white is a constructed term to reinforce white supremacy (a common tool of imperialism and capital) and is in itself a horrid way to group people (as it is also employed to destroy cultures of people as they are subsumed into the "white" category) but also that white is a self embraced title by many in America as a way to get into the in group and avoid out group status even on a subconscious level as well as reinforced in many American cultural aspects.

This comes from a mayo that really fucking hates the term white and would rather be refereed to as anything else.

Oh forgot to add this to my previous comment but any fellow mayos have to deal with the most disconcerting and fucked up forms of mask off shit from other white coworkers? Like holy shit it made me hate being included as "white" (white being a created pillar of white supremacy that should be fucking destroyed).

Most evident memory of this was one of my preceptors when I was first starting out in medicine going on a lowkey rant about black patients that had me fucking dumbstruck at the end. Dude was a emigrated gusano from Mexico that went on bootstrap rants in response to COL rises and how they wanted to grift their own operated EMS service into the local hospital networks to become a true "entrepreneur".

edit: yes I consider gusanos as white people since they fill all the damn boxes I consider vital for Whites (desire to own land/business/entrepeneur, have a disdain for "complainers", and yet blame everyone else for their own failings, and are likely scared shitless when leaving their gated community or neighborhood).

Yup, the only way to unperson a white person the same way is to make them homeless then they immediately fall under the "animal" category alongside everyone else that suburban whites clutch their pearls about and rural white continually stock up a bunkers worth of small arms for (which they will likely shoot themselves with)

Think we are confusing trophy hunting for rich petite bougie peeps "look at the size of the racks on this buck!!!!", versus having a functional system that prioritizes native land rights and resource management as well as seasonal tags with specifics (i.e. so many doe, so many bucks, so many elderly) to keep populations from collapsing (deer island anyone?)

For me I did a lot of fishing with my folks and friends for lots of invasive species, mainly pike and carp (fucking hell fish that they are) which alongside good bounties for other invasives (new zealand mud snails) with geo taging their locations can actually lead to great participation with the local ecology, its just that most people view hunting as it is because it is a vanity project for the rich.

Also deer stands should be fucking illegal. You wanna hunt then get off your ass and track what you're after.
