Love this type of music. Came across Underscore here on BandCamp and am loving what she has to offer. She's from Ottawa.

Gotta love the language here implying he only sees Indigenous people as means to access resources rather than seeing them as normal people whose lives and histories should be respected.

I love the idea! Thanks, I'll try and see what if anything I can sort out.

Incredible song by Unleash the Archers, a Metal band that hails from Vancouver.

Hopefully this is considered "offbeat". First time posting here.

I'm originally from Edmonton, and I recognize Loyola's name as one that's been in politics for years. I really have to wonder what happened here. Not familiar with Loyola as a person and never followed him much, but this comes as a shock.

Must be hard simply being a fiscal conservative in the Conservative party right now seeing the social conservatives botching all the good publicity the party could possibly have had left.

The firmware explicitly states it's for photos only, and I tried my luck using both mp4 and webm formats.

I think you're misunderstanding, the TV's firmware literally states that it can only be used for photos. I tried accessing both webm and mp4 to try my luck, but nothing.

Oh! Is Roku something you can get separately? I always thought it was just a built-in OS on newer TVs.

I'm well aware, just trying to find positive stories to share.

Still don't fully agree. The environmental impact of shipping from overseas is costly, so investing in means to create product here rather than overseas should be seen as a necessity.

We grow tomatoes, cucumbers, cannabis, and some bell peppers in green houses here, and should invest in expanding those options available to Canadian consumers.

As much as I like them, their prices were insane. I get supporting local, but at that price point? Ouch.

Look, if he just left it at saying that the protests were fine but the encampment was not, that would at least be understandable.

COMPARING IT TO THE FREEDOM CONVOY? BRUH

Immediate thought that comes to mind is that you can follow the Lemmy and Pixelfed accounts from your Mastodon, which would give you some ease in accessing their posts via Mastodon, and then boost the posts from there.

Hope that helps a bit, tbf cross-platform interactions like this are something I have very limited experience with.
