Ever since I started working in social work, I've completely stopped giving a shit about cheating. A good amount of the time I'm helping people cheat various systems to get what they need cause social assistance is so fucked they have to cheat it.

Been playing a lot of Lunacid recently, it's a dungeon crawler heavily inspired by King's Field and its atmosphere is top notch. Besides that I've been replaying Dragon's Dogma to get hyped up for the sequel in March.

When I did my work placement in college at a long term care home, I had basically 1 day of orientation and that was it. I was expected to do 1-1 counselling sessions with residents immediately, it was absolutely terrifying.

Idk, they look like they're meant to hold the prince of an alien race imprisoned in an astral realm to me.

I was just listening to that one, it's really good.

Discovered this band through the op to Scott Pilgrim Takes Off and have absolutely become obsessed with them.

bugs-no

But seriously I have been working really hard at this and I think starting hrt has really helped me actually want to care for myself.

Yeah fantasy always attracts weirdos, regardless of its messaging.

Tbh Dark Souls overarching plot is kinda leftist.

The whole premise is that the ruling class has hoarded what gave them power for thousands of years and manipulate the lower class to literally immolate themselves to keep the system running. Across the series the (arguably) good endings all have something to do with trying end the system.

Shit, I actually kinda want that now.

I want really badly to love this game, which I think I do beside a few nitpicks honestly, but the fact that I'm regularly experiencing bugs that make the conversations nearly unplayable is starting to make me hate it a little.

In every session I've played I've experience approval messages disappearing in milliseconds leaving me with no idea how my party is reacting, conversations moving forward before a character is finished speaking, to not even being shown what my dialogue options even are.

I know that the game is almost impossibly large with an insane amount of interacting mechanics, but after 3 years of early access I kind of expected issues as prominent as these to be mostly ironed out.
