Perhaps that's an opportunity, if you don't think it's a value trap that is.

In Ukraine, we have to worry about collaboration between Trump and the Russians. :) So it's not all that bad. That being said, I believe the government (and society in general) thinks Trump will win and the gov is (to the extent of its capabilities) preparing for a Trump presidency.

To be honest, I don't think there will be 60% tariffs for imports from China if (when?) Trump wins. Sounds like random BS for attention.

I suspect some of the statements might be for show or to get media attention.

The 6P was a really nice phone.

The overwhelming majority of the market is still on 1080p. 4K is still very rare and 1440p is just starting to take off.

This is a pretty major achievement. And they have 80% yields for SRAM on their 2nm node. IIIRC Samsung has not been been able to improve their GAA yields about 50-60%.

TSMC looks to continue to solidify their lead.

I like that it's a separate application. I had issues with the way OneDrive integrated with Windows/Office and conflicts with my corporate OneDrive account (this was a while ago, this may have been fixed).

I always prefer to have a full local copy (Google Drive, which a use for specific data has been really annoying with this) without using Cloud Files API or any extra features. A literal cloud sync of specific folder, nothing else.

I mostly use Dropbox out of habit (and because I have a grandfathered account). I've been meaning to switch to ProtonDrive (already have a paid account with them for email), just haven't got to it yet.

One advantage of Dropbox is that it is not that integrated into Windows/office.

I use Dropbox, albeit I have an old free account with much more storage than their 2GB base.

With ZenScreen Smart MS27UC, there's no need for a dedicated PC. Users can conduct online meetings and browse content via the web browser, and logging in to a Google Account allows them to create and sync work and documents on Google Workspace. The monitor also offers seamless connections to multiple devices, including PCs and smartphones through Miracast or Google Cast, with the multi-control feature enabling seamless navigation via a single Bluetooth mouse and keyboard.

Now monitors are getting the "smart" disease like TVs. You would think anyone who is in the market for such a monitor already has a desktop to actually use the monitor.

In theory, the electricity demand from semiconductor manufacturing could be provided by renewable and nuclear. But as stated in the articles, that's not a reality for South Korea and Taiwan (surprised to see they are so reliant on fossil fuels. With the attitude displayed by oligarch Eric Schmidt, we are definitely not going to achieve such goals.

According to Bloomberg, the latest models of these specialized devices consume around one megawatt of electricity, which is equivalent to the average energy consumption of a Spanish household over four months.

A megawatt hour? That would imply an hourly consumption of 340 watt hours over period of four months for a household. Seems a little low. Strange phrasing.

Mindfactory is not really representative of overall market trends (in Germany specifically, let alone the globe).

That being said, not having a single Arrow Lake CPU sale is surprising.
