I found one I'd like to use with no posts at all, and the one mod hasn't had any Lemmy activity in 7 months or so. I PM'd him, but I'd be surprised if that message reaches him.

I guess you can contact the server admin(s).

If it's an abandoned server the instance is living on then well it might just be staying up because it hasn't yet been shut down.

So no at least I don't know of any other way to gain admin access to a community than to contact the server people.

Mind share what community it is?
