Valve servers sucked. Uncletopia has not. Game is fun, the last 3 or so major updates were all downgrades so fuck it I'm glad we didn't get downgraded this year, and I have every confidence it won't get downgraded again next year either (excluding the addition of yet more hats).
The only thing i dislike about uncletopia is that they only seem play 5 maps over and over.
You have to join 5 casual servers in quickplay to not have bots and play the new maps. Valve should start working against them again if it is possible.
yea it's fun until you play the same two payload maps for the nth time in a row
Still too many hackers, bots and toxic players.
I had a good bit of fun playing casual. It’s not too hard to find a decent server in my region. I find the continued heavy monetization of the game frustrating given the lack of significant support.
I wouldn't call it heavy monetization? it's just hat cases I guess?
It’s gambling with terrible odds of getting “good” items
well they're just cosmetics your gambling for? that's literally the only new things they monetize, hard to call it heavy monetization when you compare it to actual gacha games and other games with in app purchases on the market, tf2 is like "medium" monetization at most, even then "medium" feels like a stretch
To be fair, taunts are also monetized and they can save your live in some situations.
It's way too old. Is tf 3 ever coming out
started getting pretty into the competitive side of things in 2023, had quite a fun time
