Yo I have a verizon US edition galaxy s22 does anyone know how to root it since I believe the bootloader is encrypted

The XDA forums are likely your best bet for something like that.

I found this via a quick Google:

It's been forever since I rooted a phone, so I don't know how difficult the process will be for that particular model.
