Or are they just collecting dust somewhere? I’m considering getting one, but it takes up a lot of counter space…

It's like my default way to heat up most food at this point

The air fryer for me has become a way to much more quickly cook up something as opposed to the oven or stovetop, but without resorting to the microwave.

Even something like a not-so-great frozen breakfast sandwich to eat on the go is way better cooked in an air fryer than a microwave, provided I plan enough to give myself the 10-15 minutes it needs.

My son is autistic, and eats almost exclusively breaded chicken for dinner (tenders, nuggets and the like), so the air fryer is a lifesaver. I can quickly could cook a small amount of these really quickly. So it gets used adviser l almost every day in our house. I also use it for all sorts of other food fairly frequently.

I love mine, but I mostly just use it for chips, baked potatoes, spring rolls etc. I'm never going to be one of these super air fryer cooks you see on you tube.

I use mine everyday. It's a good way to avoid frying food.

We use ours all the time, we got the ninja one that is like a toaster oven/ air fryer, we use it daily for morning toast, and almost every time we cook, I toss a pork chop i there and some potatoes etc and bake it for 20 mins flipping it half way. I use it to reheat wings and frys when we pick up food and heat themup to give them an extra bit of crispiness as well

Can it replace a bread toaster?

Bought mine a year ago, still using it every week. Mostly for fries, croquettes and fried calamari.

Convenient to use, and I don't use as much oil as if I was deep frying in oil.

Got one that is a toaster oven too. We use it daily.

Additionally, it flips up vertically so it takes up much less counter space when not in use.

We now have a Instant Pot Vortex 6 Quart Air Fryer that gets used quite a bit, mornings for toast and lunch prep and heavily on Sundays for meal prep. It replaced our Ninja Foodi Air Fryer Oven which just got donated because it was collecting dust. That was totally capable of baking, but slower and consumed a lot of counter space, despite rotating up and out of the way. It was fantastic for frozen pizza, but since dietary changes have eliminated those, the basket style is more than capable for chicken and veggies, easier to clean and store too.

Thanks, I'll check out the Vortex 6!
