People nearly murdering others just to save like 5 seconds off of their trip 
Seeing three accidents happen at one intersection over the span of an hour really gets you thinking about traffic safety and the need for improved infrastructure and public transportation
Something that happens three times an hour isn't an accident.
Well, yesn't. I mean yeah, really obviously a design fault, but the point I'm trying to get across is just because the designers fucked up doesn't mean that in everyone of those situations somebody else didn't.
What should change is the design, but until then, you best be fucking hyperaware
Categorically calling car crashes accidents is auto industry propaganda to absolve themselves and drivers of responsibility
I become a bit more the joker any time somebody crashes their car with no other people involved and says "I got into a car accident". No mfer you are the car accident

fucking hate the shit infrastructure. i don't like driving, i hate having to drive, and i hate the absolute ease it would take to accidentally harm a pedestrian or cyclist in a brief moment of carelessness because my city, like most, don't even bother to physically separate the bikelane from the driving lane. i see way too many people just blow through bike path crossings without slowing down to look and stopping for people conservatively.

I believe you. I had some chud honk at me because I wouldn't start driving at a greenlight until the old man across the road had finished crossing. Fucker apparently wanted me to threaten to murder him with my car to make him shuffle faster
The average Amerikkkan has zero concern for, and typically takes sociopathic pleasure in the suffering of, others. I constantly see people flying down residential streets on their phones, blowing stop signs, pulling out into traffic without looking. This shithole needs universal re-education.
There were studies from the late 90s where they put plastic turtles on the road to see who would hit them and found that most SUV drivers went out of their way to kill the turtle even swerving onto the shoulder to hit them. Amerikkkan suburbs should be straight up carpet bombed.
