There aren't enough tools to run the thing the way it really needs. They rely heavily on moderation tools that simply don't exist here.
The reason that sub is so awesome is the tight moderation.

Yes, I would agree that is one of the things that makes that sub great.
That's a good question. Has someone asked them? I don't log into Reddit anymore.
Tbh, they were big and cool enough they could probably deserve their own instance.
