It's strange how much this creature has influenced the IT sector: In e-mails, for example, CC stands for "Cutesy Catopus" and BCC for "Big Cutesy Catopus", as far as I know - no idea why...

May I suggest 8 spider style eyes; would really add creepiness. I mean except for arachnophiles.

That looks much more like a wer-bat (were-bat?) than a flying squirrel.

He even has flowers growing on his back, so he can always drink some nectar wherever he is.

Looks like it's supposed to be a fingertip, but it did regular skin (overly magnified) and not a fingerprint.

I am really out of touch. How do you generate these images?

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (1 children)

I use automatic1111 (stable diffusion), it requires you to have a decent graphics card with plenty of VRAM. https://github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui

There also exist online services such as Bing image creator, Midjourney, Craiyon, wombo, blue willow, adobe firefly, starryai, etc

A no-signup demo environment for stable diffusion is available here (but doesnt really compare to using a local install) https://huggingface.co/spaces/stabilityai/stable-diffusion

Can it make horny pictures? I like the style of the old conan comics, but with the models i've tried they dont allow such indecency.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago (4 children)

Only local installs are fully uncensored.
