Mabuhay at maligayang pag-alis sa Lemmy! βοΈ
An abandoned community for the Philippines and all things Filipino! π΅π
Started out as a Reddit alternative during the blackout from Jun 12-21, 2023 with over 1k members in just a few days. Fizzled faster than the "I Didn't Do It" kid after a month until it became the internet's Centralia in less than a year.

Nag-lurk ako sa kabila, puro "SocMed Drama" ang nasa Hot feed hanggang sa pinakababa.
Napaka-alien ko.
Ang kalat narin dun at times kaya ok narin ako sa kabagalan dito sa Lemmy
That sub used to be more on discussions, love reading longer replies. Now, ang cheap na, parang nagbabasa lang ako ng mga typical pesbok comments before I deleted my account nung 2020 (not sure kung ganyan pa rin ngayon).
Fediverse is different, something like from 2000s to early 2010s Internet β not so personalized, random discussions, openness.
Nothing changed much, medyo naging mas worse pa nga ata e. Triggered ako dun sa post about sinasabaw yung KFC gravy, daming comments na sobrang dugyot moves daw. Eh pucha gawain ko yun and some of my friends dati kasi laki nang natitipid namin dun nung gipit na gipit kami.
Nothing wrong with doing that to KFC gravy imo, some people just... eh
that free KFC gravy is just a way to boost their market, to gather more consumers buying their so-so chickens.
if people think that is bad, then blame kfc. consumers are just there β to consume.
I had a binge gaming session with my partner tonight, from 11pm to 3am. Playing fall guys blast ball trials. We had so much fun. What a night. It's hard to believe that we had so much fun playing a video game. It's also hard to believe that I'm gaming with my partner and we're both having fun. I'm so grateful that we're together.π₯²

Sa DoubleSafe ni GCash, di tatanggapin ang selfie na walang pang-itaas. Akala ko na-lock ang account ko, naka-ilang ulit pa ako, naka 15W LED ang kwarto ko.

Recently watched Babylon (2022) again, and to me, somehow these kinds of pictures are admiring. A sprinkle of filmmaker's indulgence and hoping for audiences to trust his work β a risky move. PTA's Magnolia (1999), The Deer Hunter (1978) and Wachowskis x Tykwer's Cloud Atlas adaptation are overwritten and deliberately paced but damn, how these pros made these works re-watchable.
