I brought [email protected] over, although I'm not expecting a large turnout. While they are participating in the blackout, I don't know that many will seek an alternative and will probably just want to play more...

Someone posted https://kbin.social/m/fediverse/t/4331/The-growing-list-of-subreddits-going-to-be-dark-but which seems to suggest at least some of these already exist. But when I try to find/subscribe, I get "No results". I'm trying to find new communities here, is this the right way? https://lemmy.click/search/q/search/type/Communities/sort/TopAll/listing_type/All/community_id/0/creator_id/0/page/1

r/pathofexile. I hope it gets going before the next league starts
The art sharing subreddits like Imaginary Network, /r/awwnime, /r/patchuu, /r/moescape and similar. I want to start an instance that automatically crossposts from those subreddits to the Fediverse, and users here can also contribute with artwork that fits the community's theme. It'll probably fetch the posts through RSS to avoid the API limits, but who knows if Reddit might shut that down too. So I'll have to wait until this API situation stabilizes.
I'm hoping for some specific craft communities, but for now it makes sense to huddle together in [email protected]. We do love to show off pics of all our projects though so I expect it won't be too long before it makes sense to start splitting that up.
Iβve found a lot of replacements. Thereβs just some very niche subreddits that I follow that havenβt had equivalents made yet unfortunately. Also some subs for some of the franchises/properties I like. Those will hopefully get some equivalents soon.
We can do a south-american community, if there is somebody interested, the new sub of Colombia [email protected] π¨π΄ π¨π΄ π¨π΄ πππ
