@[email protected] @[email protected] Although I'm a Gnome user for about 25 years, I always have a look at what's going on in the KDE universe! Happy birthday and thanks for the great work to make the Linux desktop even more enjoyable! π
KDE
KDE is an international technology team creating user-friendly free and open source software for desktop and portable computing. KDEβs software runs on GNU/Linux, BSD and other operating systems, including Windows.
Plasma 6 Bugs
If you encounter a bug, proceed to https://bugs.kde.org, check whether it has been reported.
If it hasn't, report it yourself.
PLEASE THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE POSTING HERE.
Developers do not look for reports on social media, so they will not see it and all it does is clutter up the feed.
For years I was in those group photos. Miss you guys π
I haven't been on their website in forever and it's just crazy to me to see the steam deck listed as preinsalled with plasma. Like I know it is but to think a device that successful is associated with KDE is just so exciting
I'm glad you exist :)
Happy birthday KDE β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ

It feels amazing when I'm back at home after working all day with Gnome and enjoy my beloved KDE. No hate towards Gnome, but I'm in love with KDE.

The first Linux distro (Suse) I have ever tried had KDE. This was in 1999 I think. If only Linux gaming had been as great then as it is today..
@[email protected] @[email protected] @popey Nice !
I used to do some KDE development back in 2007ish - still have a dev account I think.
@[email protected] @[email protected] Been using your software since the 1.x days!
So many wonderful memories and just plain ol' getting-things-done. I'm so impressed and proud of you all, and look forward to many more years of awesomeness!
@[email protected] @[email protected] Happy birthday to you, thanks for all the great work in the Linux world, and thanks for enabling the much beloved Fedora KDE spin. :)
@[email protected] @[email protected] Thank you so much for existing. I cannot imagine my life without you now.
KDE is awesome ππ
My first taste of Linux was SuSE 7.1 on some KDE 2 version I can't remember. It's my Ol Reliable.
