Are you using a mobile? If you are press the @ button followed by user name and it should pop up a list then you click the user name you want. @[email protected]
Formatting syntax question.Does anyone know how you does this under an image...
It's on every image over at [email protected]
Edit - was meaning more about how it looks... Response over on [email protected] was that the links are put into the "post body" section and centred... Which then displays like the example. Thanks all
You can use the limmy built-in functions, which automatically inputs lemmy's supported Bulletin Board Code.
BBCode (Bulletin Board Code) is a lightweight markup language used to format posts in many message boards. The available tags are usually indicated by square brackets [ ] surrounding a keyword. ~wiki
This format is also used on Reddit.

It's crazy to think that people may eventually be able to comment here, via their Instagram account on Threads.
Ugh. I have insta and fb, but only for pictures of my friends cats and for sharing stupid memes respectively. Does anyone even use insta for more than just lurking, if they arent an 'InFlUeNcEr'?
I saw a post once on /r/legaladvice where the OP exchanged Instagram contacts with some other individuals so they could recover damages at a later date. So apparently some people are using it as a legit method of communication.
Spoiler: They got blocked and ghosted. Hence the legaladvice post.
