Sick of being injured. No run today.

Went and picked up my medical cannabis from the post office today. Very odd, showing my ID, it all being legitimate instead of meeting someone in the corner of the pub. Haven't had any in about 20 years. It is a trial to see if it helps with my chronic pain from all my climbing injuries. Also, the manual for the vaporiser gives detailed instructions of how to pack it.. In 6 different languages ...

Line is closed city side of Thornbury. Unfortunately someone has died by suicide.

First run in a few weeks this morning. Felt pretty heavy and slow. Much slower pace than a few weeks ago... Good to get out there again though. Hopefully injuries will stay at bay for a while.

My foot injury had flared up so I'm taking a short break. My first 10k fun run in a month or so, so hopefully I'll get back out there soon.

The amateur theatre was brilliant. At the show I went to, he played a second set of hits for another 2 hours after the Greendale set. Came back on stage after the break and opened with a 12 minute solo into Like A Hurricane ....was awesome

Right on man. No doubt you all had a great time.

I guess it was my love of their music, and the fact that I was so excited to see them at the time, and then they just hit the ball right out of the park on the night. I also had to queue up, sometimes overnight in the rain, for tickets, so it made it even more satisfying on the night when they put on a great show.... Been to heaps of others over the years. Flaming Lips next year will be my first in a few years. I think the last one was Tool.
