That seems really intense to me. Even if you mean shower when you say bath I canβt imagine doing it twice a day. In the summer I normally shower once every two days. In the winter once every 3 days. I am located in northern Germany so it might be a culture difference.

it's only normal to take a twice a day bath in a hot tropical climate.
like it's only normal to take a bath twice a week in a cold geographical area.
Your comment is important. Many people from tropical climates think that people who don't take many showers a day are unhygienic. Just as many people from colder climates think that people who shower a lot are crazy.
I live in a mountain town, and I still shower every day when I get home from work. I am an electrician and tend to get pretty dirty throughout the day, and at minimum need to clean my feet so my boots don't develop stank. I may forgo a shower on Sunday if I've spent the day on the couch or being lazy around the house, but if I've had any form of physical activity, shower.
In the US daily is pretty standard, I'll maybe do two depending on exercise or working outside
0.5 showers a day
Ah yes, the classic 7 showers every other Monday.
Finally, an educated person.
As an American, I shower every morning to help wake up and get rid of bed head. I shower at night if I've worked out that day.
I shower at night if I've worked out that day.
So you never shower at night?
In this thread: People who do not grasp the intention of the question and focus on the semantics of a foreign lenguage being translated as best as possible for OP.
For this context alone: BATH = SHOWER
For all other times, yes they do mean different things.
Damn, you work way too much. How do you even have time to post on Lemmy?
I shower around 0.5-0.75 times/day.
Every 1-3 days depending on if I go to the gym, temperature outside, if I need to look nice, or if ima even bother leaving the house lol
Taking multiple baths a day can dry out your skin really quickly, you need to take one a day, at most. Even so, the areas that need to be washed daily are your pits, face, feet and groin. You could get away with a "whores bath" (washing just those 4 parts with a soapy rag) most days and a full bath every few days.
The exception being if you sweat a lot or have a dirty job of course.
I agree, and there are studies on the amount of showers we can take. I, for example, work sitting down and with the air conditioning on. The problem is travelling from my home to work. It's impossible not to arrive at work very sweaty. An extremely crowded train/bus or just walking for five minutes is enough to make you sweat a lot.
Living in New England, United States, I shower on the three days a week that I work. On days off, I only shower if I've been working in the yard or something like that.
When I lived in the Caribbean, I showered at least once, often twice a day. It's very different in the tropics lol
[For the sake of other commenters: OP likely meant washing oneself, regardless of immersion bath or not. It's just that Portuguese "banho" can mean both "shower" and "bath".]
From 4 to 12 times a week. If it's mid-winter and I spent the whole day working (from home, no heavy labour), I might skip a shower day, never two in a row because that's nasty. If it's hot I'll probably take a proper/cleaning shower every morning, plus a quick shower around 18:00. (I'm from ParanΓ‘.)
One shower every two days. No baths.
one every few days
All the Brazilians I knew were shocked when they learned I only took one shower per day. Most of them claimed to take 3 per day. I just chocked it up to their being in a warmer climate.
The last bath I took was probably at least ten years ago. (Not counting swimming in a lake or pool or anything like that)
Less than one a day. If Iβm just hanging around the house I donβt bother. During the work week, once a day. If Iβve done something that works up a sweat and/or gets me dirty (yard work, cleaning the car, etc.) that gets a shower.
Two or three showers... a week
I assume by baths you also mean showers. I think almost everyone I've ever met including myself would limit to once per day unless they specifically get dirty or sweaty from exercise.
I have a shower every morning, first thing, will only skip a morning shower on the rare day in just laying about the house.
Will have a second shower only if I've been doing something sweaty/dirty like mowing or bush walking.
Edit: Worth adding that in an Aussie, not in a humid or overly hot location and don't have a physical job.
Depression = twice in the last month. I have an appointment to adjust my medication.
I really hope things improve for you. If talking to a random internet stranger would help, I'm here.
Usually once per day
I often skip 1 day if i have no plans and just hang out at home. But never 2.
Once a day usually, not always. Sometimes a little less but when itβs really hot outside I take 2. If I was living in Brasil, Iβd take 2.
I shower every night before going to sleep. I like being clean in bed.
Unless I'm doing yard work or similar, I will shower every other day, sometimes 2 days. My skin gets unbearably dry and itchy if I shower more often.
One, but I do take it every day.
My scalp gets too oily and I develop pimples in no time if I don't wash my hair.
It really sucks, my partner can go without a shower multiple days and still look awesome. No, I'm not jealous... kinda..
Usually every other day, unless I've been for a run and then I'll shower straight after but won't bother washing my hair, it takes too long.
It depends on the weather, how active I've been, how presentable I need to look for something, etc.
Normally I can skip a day, sometimes two, between showers. I don't live a super active life, and I shave my head so don't really have to worry about my hair getting greasy and gross.
If I'm having a more active day or it's hot out I'm probably showering every day, and depending on what's on my schedule for the day and what I get up to in between I may end up showering 2 or 3 times.
Damm wake up 6:30 home at 8 what a long work day.
I always shower when i wake up
I think anything more than one or two a day is considered unhealthy for your skin/hair.
In the winter months a shower every night. Sometimes I skip a night if Iβm lazy or Iβve stayed home all day.
In the summer I will maybe take 2-3. One is a proper shower. The two or three are quick 20 second cold water rinse to cool myself down. Helps to have one right before bed on a hot night.
