I'm an Apollo user, but still. It's a sad night. Why am I so sad?
Maybe it's because I'm so lonely, and Reddit provided a bright little spark to fill the darkness. And it did that for like 16 years for me. And now it's gone.

It reminds me of the feeling of being pushed out of a community, it's not just like that but it reminds of that

Our line was threatened to be cut

It feels like our old currents, at times, but it decidedly different

Iโve been using wefwef.app, which is a progressive web app you can add to your Home Screen. It feels naive though.
I tried out wefwef and it feels wrong
Jerboa though feels pretty similar to BaconReader IMO and now that Lemmy 0.18.1 is out and instances are updating to it it's working great
My understanding is that it was designed to work like Apollo, but I didnโt use Apollo so ๐คทโโ๏ธ

I tried Apollo back in the day and had the same criticism, it felt weird
Just dipping a toe into Lemmy right now. I'm using Connect for Lemmy on android, and it seems a pretty good model client so far. Some similarities with Baconreader, but not a direct lift.
Relay is still working for some reason

My baconreader app is still working too, I've been checking it all morning. I can load posts and comments no issues. I've already deleted my Reddit account so I can't confirm logging in or anything.
That's weird and probably only temporary
