That smuglord in a recent thread that said "programming.dev doesn't allow politics" certainly allows programming.dev's nonpolitical politics to ooze anywhere I can see a programming.dev user address of origin.

There does seem to be a huge disconnect between people who believe in the existence a meaningful category called "non-political" and reality.

For me it’s not even about that. I do not care about US politics, I just want to see some funny memes

That seems so unfair ! We should have a right not to read posts and comments if we find them about a subject we don't want to interact with right then.

I don't mind political memes, we're adults and politics plays an important part of our lives, satire on politics is a welcome part of life, BUT... why must they all be foreign memes from the Americas?

We should have a mix of political memes from all around the globe! Gods knows, Sunak or Braverman are deserving of memery.... :-P
