I think itβs just a mistake in the graphic. F1 app has him 11th, ahead of Ocon
So now only Perez has a mathematical chance of beating Max to the championship?
I wish they would show this kind of analysis before and after the race, especially as we get towards the end of the season.
Technically Lewis and Fernando have a chance, assuming Max scored zero for the rest of the season and they outscored Checo and each other while winning every race, I think Fernando needs fastest lap points and a good haul from the remaining sprints. Obviously that's only happening if Max gets a season ending injury and they get very lucky with Ferrari and McLaren dropping back down the pecking order.
Piastri could end up 9th after the next race. I'm actually amazed that Stroll even has that many points.
Nando is gonna drop down to P6, isn't he?
Yeah sadly. Man he had such a great run this season. It was fun watching him race and being on the podium. I wish Seb also had a chance before he retired.
As in McLaren fan I now have to fairly regular occurrence of thinking "omg how high can we go?"
... And then being reminded of just how dominating Aston Martin were at the start of the season.
