I understand there is a market for things at these ridiculous price points, but if I were to meet someone with this thing it would immediately raise red flags.

I'm 80% sure that actual typing experience on this piece is comparable to no-name membrane keyboard for $5.
I wouldnt go that far.
If you are used to typing on a nice mechanical keyboard (one for $100), you will notice the difference when moving to a lowest cost possible membrane keyboard available.
Well it's a scam aimed at people that fetishize handmade things, I fully expect them to be as cheap and scummy about it as humanly possible.
(...) promising an unprecedented typing experience that founder Ryan Norbauer unabashedly describes as "needlessly lavish" and "exuberantly irrational."
Am I missing something or is this still just a plastic keyboard we're talking about here? Not hand carved rosewood, not solid gold set with jewels? Exactly what is the extent of the "hand crafted by a single artisan" here?
The only thing "exuberantly irrational" about this scam is the price tag.
What is sensual typing? 😅
It sounds so hollow and doesn't even have mechanical switches, wtf: https://www.norbauer.co/pages/the-seneca
