It seems as though there is no unified movement right now on the left (besides a few powerful leaders), but instead a deafening lack of action. The time is NOW for leaders to start planning for the next election, not 2027 or 2028. Can we start calling congressional democrats to request that they start drafting a plan, especially one that ensures an administration like this can never occur in the USA again? Most of them sure don’t seem busy with standing up to what is happening right now, so the least they could do is help catalyze change within the Democratic Party. It is time to redefine, as conservative democracy is no match to the MAGA movement.

Be careful with calling it "the Democrats' Project 2025." Project 2025 is a blueprint to destroy America. It's a political agenda in PDF form.

Yeah Project 2025 is a modern Mein Kampf. That isn't hyperbole.

Opposition does need a plan, but branding is important.

We need a different term. We should get a book of plans like Project 2025, but without the fascism.

Dems have to start coming up with policies that the actual public like, instead of focusing on tiny segments of the population at the behest of the rest of America. They also need a populist candidate.

The democratic leadership is a lost cause. They are currently trying to move more right to win back donors, but its too late. They dont want money from individuals or to hear the concerns of the people, and have prided themselves on not giving in to pressure from the "far left." They've doubled down on focusing on converting republicans to support them instead without promising anything other than "Trump destroy, we wont."

Some of the democrats and other politicians have shown real leadership; Bernie Sanders, Al Green, and AOC are three of the most notable examples that have been in the news a lot recently.

What people need right now is an organization to unify them, organize protests and rallies, place candidates to run in local elections, fund advertisements and outreach etc. Ideally that wouls have been the role of the Democratic party, but with their spineless leadership that will be impossible.

I think it will likely involve some kind of partnership between these politicians, and organizations like indivisible and other small parties such as WFP, and require donations from individuals rather than rich donors.

Dems have to stop playing nice and get shit done. Be anti-oligarchy and other messages and you will win the working class.
