I've been using Foliate (linux), but this looks really good.

So… it does what all other apps do. I’m not saying I like it but doesn’t seem that abusive.

I don't know why a e-reader would need location data in order to improve the app...

Some developer must have gotten frustrated reading Infinite Jest and decided to make an app that also ended up working for academia.
