There's also NeoDB, which is also federated and self-hostable. Main issues iirc is most of the stuff already on there is in Chinese, so inaccessible for people that don't speak it.

I often use German fernsehserien.de to find information about TV shows. Not sure how this page behaves without ad-blocker, but for me it is working perfectly fine.
