Sadiq is making the horrible political faux pas of speaking of things as they are.
UK Politics
General Discussion for politics in the UK.
Please don't post to both [email protected] and [email protected] .
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.
Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.
Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.
[email protected] appears to have vanished! We can still see cached content from this link, but goodbye I guess! :'(
Heaven forfend!
I suppose at worst it could be seen as... "undiplomatic" when the UK government are trying to figure out how to deal with having a vindictive man-baby running the most powerful country in the world but history will have to judge who was right on this (my money is on the mayor).
The trump teams efficency expert. Openly suggested the US overthrow the UKs elected government. To free the UK people.
What the fuck right do they have to question anything representatives of that government says. And why the hell would the UK media feel they deserve any attenbtion.
My dad always said "never be offended by the truth" 🤷
UK gov should be for UK people.
Not the president of the US.
We should be looking to more local trading partners LIKE THE ENTIRETY OF THE FUCKING EU BLOC.
But somehow, the UK government slides farther and farther right.
SNP are right when they say that there hasn't been any change under labour.
Same shit, different colour
Same shit, different colour
I prefer: Same shit, different arsehole.
It's in the interest of the UK to have good relations with both the EU and the US.
Not if they're fascists.
He's an authoritarian bigot responsible for a failed coup.
Anyone not using the F-word is either cowering in fear or polishing their boots.
Asked about his comments on the BBC on Sunday, Treasury minister Darren Jones said: “I don’t agree with it. I speak on behalf of the government, and we don’t agree with it.”
Speaking on behalf of me, he seems pretty spot on.
