As Republican Texas leaders show support for Trump’s mass deportation plans, undocumented people — some who have lived in America for decades — are weighing their options amid mounting fears.

can't they each just give trump $1,000,000.00 for his inauguration fund instead ?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 19 hours ago

If Texas crashes their own economy by doing this, I am going to point and laugh for a long fucking time

Yeah no shit. We want the illegal immigrants gone. That's why Trump got elected.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 22 hours ago (2 children)

Hey, how's the fascism going?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

This cartoon is pretty outdated now that it's a Jewish state and its liberal internationalist backers who are committing the extermination of a people and annexation of their lands.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

Is it outdated (other than the "Siamese" description of conjoined twins)?

Liberals always seem to be the first to ally with fascists against the left.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

Uh... the liberal powers sided with Joseph Stalin to beat Mussolini and Hitler in the biggest war involving liberals, communists and fascists?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 14 hours ago* (last edited 14 hours ago)

Sure, eventually. And then only because their liberal order was directly attacked by fascism.

But who capitulated within Germany? The liberal (small l) government gave Hitler a slap on the wrist, because they were more worried about socialists.

Appreciate the input, this is actually a great discussion point.

Oh hey, the guy who wrote Green Eggs and Ham thinks less of me? Oh no, whatever shall I do? He's so smart, he rhymed "Sam I am" with "Green Eggs and Ham"!

/s in case that wasn't obvious.

If you knew anything about history, you'd know that "America First" has always been synonymous with fascism.

And don't worry, I never thought you were in danger of having an introspective thought. Reactionary ideology seeks to isolate members and inculcate them with antisocial dogma through ragebait, racism, and identity politics. It's a counterrevolutionary movement that blames minorities and foreigners for the failings of capitalism, just like all of the fascist movements of the early 20th century.

Oh, and as a brief aside: Abraham Lincoln was a radical progressive. I just threw that in there because I know how much that fact pisses off fundamentalist reactionaries.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

Abraham Lincoln also suspended Habeas Corpus and oversaw mass arrests of protestors and journalists, a perfect example of a radical progressive being an actual fascist. I bet that fact pisses you off, being a radical progressive yourself.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 18 hours ago* (last edited 17 hours ago) (1 children)

Nope, it doesn't piss me off that reactionaries get what is coming to them: if you abandon the social contract you shouldn't get the protection that it provides.

The only good fascist is a dead fascist. Leave it to a reactionary to get it exactly backwards.

I'm sure you would have been among those who thought ending slavery no matter the cost was too radical.

Your surface-level understanding is, as usual, adorable.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

Let's end fascism with actual fascism! Do you not understand what habeas corpus is?

Lincoln did something that ended well, but that does not excuse what he did.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 17 hours ago* (last edited 17 hours ago) (1 children)

You have no idea what actual fascism is.

Ending slavery for four million people is in no way fascism. The fact that this confuses you so much is predictable, because the anti-intellectual ragebait that you listen to preaches that fascism is a leftist movement.

But I guess you believe that "work makes you free," huh?

Thanks for playing along, I couldn't have asked for a better demonstration of the vacuousness of reactionary "thought."

[–] [email protected] 0 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

You can't even figure out that someone can do two different things in their life. Lincoln did a great thing by freeing the slaves. He also was a fascist by being a fascist. He suspended habeas corpus and mass jailed journalists. I don't even know how to reword that to make it clearer.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 14 hours ago

That's because your pseudohistorical nonsense is bunk.

Fascism isn't just when an authority goes outside the bounds of the law. It's a very specific reactionary ideology that harkens back to a mythical past and directs blame for imperial failures at minority populations within their control.

Nothing about that describes anything about Abraham Lincoln's ideology or behavior.

In fact, it makes you look ridiculous and like you don't know anything about reactionary ideology at all. It's actually pretty funny if you think about it.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 17 hours ago

Please go fuck your self.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 20 hours ago

Actually, I'd prefer you gone.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 21 hours ago (2 children)

You going to volunteer to work in farm fields for poverty wages once all the migrant labor has been rounded up and deported?

I didn’t think so.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 12 hours ago

the thought process probably revolves around "No, we'll just put the teenagers looking for their first jobs to work. and if that fails. Uh. Elon Robots!"

[–] [email protected] 0 points 20 hours ago (5 children)

Man, it never gets old seeing lefties actually advocating for an abusable workforce for substandard wages. What is this, Jim Crow?

Americans will work shitty jobs for good wages. Right now, migrants work for less because they don't have a choice. Remove the migrants, start going after companies that hire them, wages will go up.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

Better yet, let the migrants stay because they enrich our communities and are human beings just like you and me.

We could also enforce our labor laws uniformly and allow everyone to come and stay here if they wish. Give the migrants normal wages, while removing the stick of ICE that allows employers to abuse their undocumented labor force. Employers love ICE because ICE becomes enforcers if the labor force starts to get uppity.

You are scapegoating the wrong people. The real enemies are the people destroying our planet for illusory “profits” which won’t matter at all when the ecosystem collapses. Also, I don’t want a reply from a fucking fascist so don’t bother.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 12 hours ago

How exactly do they "enrich" our communities?

And you're right, they are human beings. Human beings get to obey laws and follow processes. The animals don't, but humans do.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 15 hours ago

They're not the ones causing your shit pay

You literally voted for a guy who doesn't want to properly raise the minimum wage lol

[–] [email protected] 0 points 16 hours ago

Loooooooooooooool.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 18 hours ago* (last edited 18 hours ago) (1 children)

In your dreams. You think Trump will fuck with rural farmers and rich industrialists who own factories that hire these undocumented immigrants? Or do you think somehow the leeches will relent and give fair wages to Americans to work the fields? What do you think would REALLY happen?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 17 hours ago

I expect it to be imperfect, but for the majority of the illegal labor force to be deported. Then either the companies will either be understaffed or start hiring legal workers.

Prices will most likely rise, but so will wages for those types of jobs. And frankly, I'd rather a little higher prices than for unethical lower prices

[–] [email protected] 0 points 20 hours ago

Me over here aging before they ever touch a company for hiring them.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 21 hours ago

Ironically, many legal immigrants who voted for Trump and have relationships to illegals are worried.
