So does that mean 5 years from release for pixel 7?

As a Grapehene user, increasing the security updates would've been great but I suppose that the existing 5 years will do just fine.

Why don't they just list the date (or even the 'available on store' date) for each device? It would be a lot simpler for people instead of having to hunt for the info themselves
I went to check as I remember that Google Support had a handy table with dates, but they seemingly removed it in favor of this stupid wording 🙄
Maybe the management hasn't decided on the exact promises they're willing to make? Also there's two years left before it becomes important, while previously there was always a generation going out of support within a year.
Good news, although I've been holding off on updating to 15 as, last I heard, it was causing issues with Pixel 6 Pros. Not sure if that's been solved yet, need to go have a look.
