I really want to understand what's the big deal about foreign languages. If both speak the same second language, then maybe having a few conversations in it might be fun, but if you don't what is exciting about someone that can say things you don't understand?

Weird, "nerd for Marxism" isn't on there... good thing I can cook 😎

I'm a 4 and 7 with a touch of 1, so I guess I'm a hot commodity.

....my dating history tells me otherwise.

Uh, there is a typo, the second probably should say "functional languages". We all know how people are attracted to map, filter, and reduce.

Archery. Archery? Whose hobby is that?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 hour ago

Can't recommend enough. A fantastic sport to pick up for after work if you're working in IT or so, clears your mind, good for the shoulders and the back, and calms you down.

Kyudo is both archery and meditation combined into one.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 47 minutes ago

I don't do it, but I'd like to. The few times I tried it I quite enjoyed it, it's just hard to find a place near me where I can practice archery. It's quite fun, I think.

Bow hunters?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 hours ago

The archers?

[–] [email protected] 10 points 6 hours ago

Does growing cannabis count as gardening and what about painting figures?

[–] [email protected] 27 points 8 hours ago (2 children)

can some one explain this meme to me?

I can't find Saddam Huisen

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 hour ago

Huisen

Hey leave Sand-dam Hurzen out of this!

[–] [email protected] 11 points 6 hours ago

Okay, this meme actually doesn't contain Saddam Hussein. I know it's a shock, you'd better sit down. Actually lie down. Lower. Lower. Keep going. There he is.

3D printing is not, but astronomy is? Is that even a hobby?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 hours ago

No, but if you grind enough, you get to see some blackholes.

[–] Michal 13 points 8 hours ago

TIL I'm a chick magnet

[–] [email protected] 30 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

Got reading and foreign languages, woohoo!

most attractive for women

*groans* So much for my gay ass...

[–] [email protected] 9 points 9 hours ago

Hey nobody said they're not attractive to men

[–] [email protected] 4 points 8 hours ago

where's golfing?

[–] [email protected] 7 points 9 hours ago (2 children)

Cooking is my love language. I'm also a sole provider.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 hours ago

Isn't that called a "cobbler"? Or do you only do soles and not the entire shoe?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 5 hours ago

Oh. Do you catch them yourself or do you just have connections in the industry?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 9 hours ago

3D printing is just a tooI? blacksmithing? 3D print a 'lost-wax' plastic mould. Gardening? making some custom very specific mounts or drip ends.

You don't put on a hobby list 'wielding a brush'. It's what you do with it;

[–] [email protected] 5 points 9 hours ago* (last edited 2 hours ago) (1 children)

I assume that by painting they don't mean miniature painting. Unless it's Henry Cavill that does it?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 hours ago

Never forget step 1.
