Combat games like Mortal Kombat
Iron Meat launched just today. Classic style sidescroller. Seems to be worth it if you're into that kind of thing.
@[email protected] I had a great time with all of these on the Steam Deck:
Into the Breach
Hades
Dead Cells
Slay the Spire
Balatro
SteamWorld Dig (1 and 2)
Dredge
TMNT Shredder’s Revenge
Sea of Stars
Persona 5 Royal
River City Girls
Minishoot’ Adventures
Cocoon
Guacamelee! (1 and 2)
Shogun Showdown
UFO 50.

@[email protected] One of my favorites on deck was Cassette Beasts. Bloomtown seems to be working good on it as well.
- Hollow Knight
- Nine Sols
- Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus
- Animal Well
- Sheepo
- Islets
- Crypt Custodian
- Prince of Persia The Lost Crown
- GRIME
- Blasphemous (1 and 2)
That's my metroidvania list.

@[email protected] I adored The Entropy Centre and Moonstone Island on Deck. Hardspace:Shipbreaker is also great when you want to chill and disassemble a space ship, but it's a bit of a battery hog.
@[email protected] Would recommend Ex-Zodiac, an on-rails-shooter where you drive a spaceship.
Even it being an Early Access game now: it's getting closer to the full (1.0) release.
There are 9 levels so far, and I only played Level 1 at the moment of writing this.
I got the feel of the all controls fast, after I had a look at the rest of those I didn't get at first in the Controls Rebind option!
Return of the Obra Dinn
Signalis
Outer Wilds
System Shock (remake)
Sekiro
Cuphead
Skyrim
The Witcher 3
Cyberpunk 2077
All of these are great games that run almost flawlessly from start to finish on the Deck
