Look at the top of your feed "subscribed | local | all". All, you will see everything that anyone has subscribed to on your instance. Local is your instance. Subscribed is your subscriptions. Hopefully that is what you were asking about.

I figured that part out. I set my settings to default to subscribed. I started looking for communities here on Lemmy.world and found selfhosted. I joined because I thought it looked somewhat active with a few posts. Now when I go there to that specific community, sometimes I see one post...sometimes I see a whole bunch of posts that are clearly from other communities. I just wanted to contribute to a thread I saw earlier about what I'm selfhosting.
