With Paramount claiming they want to lean hard into their franchises, what do you think will be the next pitch for a Star Trek show to make it to air?

I know this will most likely not happen, but I would love for ST:E to get its proper missing seasons.

I am one of the few people who enjoyed the temporal cold war arcs, I would really like to see what they had planned before it got canned (for example archer himself was supposed to become the mysterious shadow guy from the future that commands the suliban).

But the most bitter part is that they essentially killed off the show once it had found its groove after the xindi arc and was about to get real good, there even exists a refit design of the ship that was supposed to be a coming upgrade, looking like the missing link to the OG enterprise:

I enjoyed Enterprise more than DS9. All that boring Bajoran magic bullshit…

Woah woah. You should post that as unpopular opinion. I mean I loved Enterprise but DS9 is on another level.

reruns unless the strike is addressed

I’m guessing we will get a “Section 29” movie as a backdoor pilot. And they will put “Starfleet Academy” in turnaround as an animated series.

If it was me, I’d build a “Star Trek Medical” show (ER/MASH in space) and a Maroon uniform era show.

For budget cuts you could also do a Temporal police/Temporal war show. Since it’s not always set in the future, you get cheaper reuse of sets and locations.

I would love one that follows those temporal police guys (from Voyager?), fairly episodic format, plenty of room for guest stars from across trek history, and they could use it to explore a lot of the other cultures in the federation and the galaxy.

But what will be the next show that really gets made? Probably section 31.

I'd love something that focuses more on the civilian aspect of life. The shows keep talking about how Earth society is post scarcity but I'd love to see how that works out. Things might be a little boring since everything is supposed to be free of conflict but it'd be nice if it was a mini series.
