The family of the fallen doesn't have the authority to change the rules for Trump or anyone else. Even with them allowing it, he still didn't have permission and was violating federal law. Again.
That's before assaulting the staff member that tried to uphold the rules+law.

My aunt died in 2013 and at the funeral my cousin (her step-son) suggested that the whole family make a "Harlem Shake" video. He at least had the dignity to not suggest including my aunt in it. Nope. Trump and his campaign went for a photo op in DC’s veteran cemetery. Campaigning and taking press pictures is banned in this part of the cemetery, but his campaign pushed groundskeepers out of the way so they could do press event on soldiers graves.
