I donβt have a downloads directory. The browsers I do use are set to ask for save file name every time (not always the same directory) and I delete everything when done using. The default dump everything to a garbage folder is not really a great idea
In my downloads folder I have an invoice from 2022. In my utilities folder I actually have old DOS executables from 1985.
