To be able to live a little more relaxed, I only read new messages once or twice a day, only more often in exceptional cases (for example when a birthday or a deadline is approaching). The rest of the time, the phone is in flight mode.

Fortunately, I haven't had any problems with it yet, but what about you? And how have you responded to stupid demands?

I get them. I don't always answer.

I tend not to get along well with the kind of people who think I have to drop everything to respond to them, so it's fine.

We are all in our 50s so who gives a fuck, but also is he dead?

I get notifications, but generally don't read them until I'm taking a break, maybe 4 times a day. No one has complained. If they did, I'd tell them to call me if it's an emergency. I'm guessing about half would never make a phone call if they could help it, so it's a good bluff. Also I don't mind receiving phone calls.

I couldn't give a shit about my phone 90%o of the time. No social media. No time wasting apps. No bullshit.

I’m addicted. Constantly checking it, looking at it to pass time when doing something else is considered rude.

My phone is on mute all the time, people message me, or call, and I get back to them when I see it. Don't like it? Move on.

I don’t know because I haven’t checked my phone.
