I have seen a lot of unjust persecutions begin with a FIR. Can the victims file a FIR to stop the prosecutions?

Under UAPA, there's no chance. It is a draconian, British-era law.

What are fellow lemming's opinions on her remark?

I don't think it is worth anti-nation. At the same time, I don't think Pak gaining control over the region would be good for us.

I haven't seen the vid/audio of the remark, only read about it.

Both India and Pakistan are ruled by political dynasts - the free-thinkers from Comintern warned about this before. And what do we see today? Zaradaris, Bhuttos, Gandhis, Gatkaris, you name it. The two-state theory proposed by the British failed in every state it was applied to - Israel-Palestine, East-West Germany, North-South Korea, and finally, India-Pakistan-Bangladesh.

This is what happens when a bunch of opportunist neo-liberals start licking the boots of their foreign masters, stepping on the hard-work of the actual freedom-fighters, the real brave-hearts, who embraced the visions of anti-imperialism strongly. India should've never been divided, to begin with. We could have rather decentralized on the basis on linguistic identities, reducing the power of the center.

What she did?

What she said is not wrong, just extremely hard to swallow in the face of nationalist pride. The game that has always been played is Kashmir being a part of India versus Pakistan. While Kashmir certainly cannot be a part of Pakistan, Kashmir's will as an individual sovereign state has been ignored and nullified since forever. There is a genuine separatist sentiment that is labelled by Indian media forcefully as "terrorism" just to keep up the façade of a flawless united country. It is a sentiment far more different from Khalistanis. J&K prosperity and stability has always been a problem because of being sandwiched between India, Pakistan and China. China forcefully annexes border parts of India across the North and Eastern states, while Pakistan is always at war with India.

It is a sentiment far more different from Khalistanis.

Is it more widespread?

What do you mean? Only Kashmiris care about Kashmir. Indians do not in general, they just want J&K under India on the map.
