The lemmy canvas event has ended! Here's what the final programming.dev section looks like

Thanks to everyone who helped out with making things. See how many community logos you recognize over by the p.d text

Got all those right ~~except the wrong programmer humor community got linked~~ Edit: was fixed

I won't participate since I know them all but I will say there's one thats not a community but snuck in and there's two programmer humor logos

and there’s two programmer humor logos

Oh, is the PH icon just left of the Rust icon the second one for programming humor?

there’s one thats not a community but snuck in

Indeed, there is one that looks rather sus... I wonder if any one has programmed a scale and rotation invariant kernel filter to find all of those? I feel like a simple sweeping scan using a 2D convolution could detect most of them.

Yeah thats one I originally planned for it since I was freehanding the first couple designs and didn't have a great way to freehand doing a complex face

Someone made one for the 2022 r/place but haven't seen any pop up for this event yet

What was the one site that would painstakingly annotate every pixel within the r/place canvas? E.g. what the artwork was representing, what did it reference, which community was behind it etc. That might be cool to have for next year.
