In Kvaesitso, just go to the app list, long press the app, hit the three vertical dots in the corner of the pop-up, and select hide.

Lawnchair can hide, rename and change icons of app starters.
Shelter can freeze or hide apps. But I think only in the work profile (Shelter) it creates. Not in the main profile.
GrapaheneOS/CalyxOS/LineageOS can disable apps, so that they don't appear in the launcher at all. You simply have to re-enable to app from settings to use it.
Alternatively consider multiple phone users on android, put your sensitive apps in a different user account entirely.
No, I meant apps that are useless, like clutter and do not need to be opened once they are configured.

I use TinyBit launcher, i think it can do it but i never needed to because junk app quickly go so far in list you just don't see them.
