What SNW did with the Gorn is brutal and awesome. I'd imagine this change is welcomed cause there was much less on the Gorn than the Klingons.

Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.
~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Hating someone off of their race, culture, creed, sexuality, or identity is not remotely acceptable. Mistakes can happen but do your best to respect others.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon' and fuck over our artist friends.
Fun will now commence.

Yeah it feels fresh and is a really well developed new antagonist to star fleet
I'm just really confused how they're going to explain that spock doesn't know what a Gorn is during TOS. He didn't know anything about them in the original episode.
In the last episode of SNW he'll need to erase his memories of the Gorn and his adopted sister to protect the fabric of the universe. Or maybe he got confused by the Gorn wearing clothes and thought it was another species with the same name.
They bring out an old version of Spock from the transport buffer who doesn't remember these things and get rid of the other Spock
Enterprise...
It was the mirror universe, so we'll give them a pass.
Enterprise also went out of their way to make that NCC-1764 USS Defiant to look and sound exactly as it appeared for TOS era
I still like the fan theory that the Klingons changed because of the tribbles Scotty beamed over in TOS
I love SNW, but the Gorn really bug me. Also, why TF is Nurse Chapel a nurse, and still a nurse when Kirk takes command? She's obviously a better doctor than M'Benga. Also, T'Pring was done wrong; I hate that whole sub-plot. I guess writers just can't resist makig Spock a horndog.
Nurses are different than doctors. You don't really graduate to being a doctor from being a nurse. You go from being a Certified Nursing Assistant, then a Licensed Practicing Nurse, then a Registered Nurse, then a Nurse Practitioner, and finally for the truly crazy there are Doctors of Nursing. This is because doctors and nurses do different things in the medical field.
I also think Chapel is very good at her job, but nurse and doctor are two different career paths. You don’t graduate being a nurse by becoming a doctor.
