can't argue with that but it does rather simplify implementation
It would have to be something specific but recurring, like tescreal guru accidentally-but-not-really advocates eugenics on main, or yudkowski running afoul of actual AI researchers on twitter and getting roundly mocked.
But where's the fun in canned sneering?
Maybe we should have a weekly thread for meta discussion and sneers that are too low effort to be their own post?
I was thinking something as simple as tag triggers or so, but a bundled low-fruit weekly is maybe also not the worst
Some stuff is what the regulars dredge up from LW months ago, which raises the philosophical question - if a lesswronger posts a sneer but no-one reads it, is it really a sneer?
It is only a sneer if the lesswrongers tell you to take it to r/sneerclub on reddit, else it is just sparkling...
